supplies, shelter, and communications for persons engaged in wide-ranging
activities, as exploring, reconnaissance, hunting, or mountain climbing.

4/3/2012 - Meeting tonight is cancelled... several large after school activities (track and soccer) that will heavily reduce attendance. Next regular meeting still on for April 17th. 3/18/2012 - New Crew officers elected. President = Dominic B. Vice President = Taylor M. Secretary = Abigail H. 3/8/2012 - Revamped Crew 61 Website is up! Crew members go to our facebook page or contact Mike or Terry for the group log-in information. Venturing is a youth development program that was created by the Boy Scouts of America in 1998 for young men and women from 14-20 years of age. The purpose of the program is to provide positive experiences to help young people mature and to prepare them to become caring adults. Crew 61 is a co-ed Venturing Crew based in Dyersville, Iowa with youth members from the surrounding areas.
