So.. after browsing around on the website here and scanning through the photos, or talking to one of our current Crew members... or you have heard so many great things about Crew 61... you now want to JOIN US and get in on the action and the adventure!

• Be at least 14 years old (male or female) OR be 13 years old and have completed with the 8th grade. 
• Be under 21 years old.
• Pay your annual BSA registration* ($15) and your Crew dues ($10).
• Obey and follow the Venturing Oath and Code.
• Contact an advisor for a Venturing Application.
  • Fill out application and sign.
  • Have a parent/guardian sign (if under 18 years old).
  • Return competed application to a crew advisor.
  • Fill out the BSA physical form. (click here to download PDF)

†Venturing often includes challenging physical and mental activities. A recent physical from your family physician is required for participation in many activities.

*Annual registration fee is waived if you are already primarily registered with either another Crew, Explorer Post or with a Boy Scout Troop in the Northeast Iowa Council.
